I had this cute paw print ribbon so I decided to make a leash for our puppy myself. I thought it would only take a moment, but it actually took several hours since I had to sew it by hand.
The leash is 180 cm long and I used about 4 meters of 10 mm wide grosgrain ribbon. Two lengths are sewn together and short lengths of ribbon are used to strengthen the point where the clasp is attached and the part that goes around my wrist. I also included a ring for attaching my poop bag holder :)
Doubled grosgrain ribbon is very strong so I think this leash will last a long time (unless he chews through it).
